Trust, explained clearly

Your records deserve
clear arrangements.

Evaluate how people gain access, how shared devices are used and what happens to your records throughout the service.

Start with who can see and do what.

Clog has signed-in users, practice access and role-based controls. Access should follow the person’s responsibilities and the practice they are authorised to work with.

For your evaluation, check the actual roles you need: recording daily work, managing staff records and reviewing documents. Multi-site and group features are coming soon.

Shared-device use

PIN and session controls help support a device used by different people. A clear lock state and the selected identity must remain visible. Shared-device convenience does not replace individual responsibility for access.

Read the entry with its context.

Names, dates and correction history should be understandable in the record. A timestamp or a coloured status alone is not proof that a check was performed correctly.

Read the displayed state before relying on a record. A pending or locally stored entry is different from one confirmed by the service.

Ask for the complete picture.

Before transferring practice records, review the privacy notice, terms of service and data processing agreement we send you. These should explain the data involved and the responsibilities on each side.

  • Hosting locations, processors and relevant data categories.
  • Access controls and the way permissions are administered.
  • Retention, backups and recovery arrangements.
  • Available exports, data return and the end of service.
  • Who to contact about a data or security concern.
Read the privacy notice and terms of service. Discuss any unanswered data questions with us before transferring practice records.

Be precise about the boundaries.

Is generative AI used for the core compliance record?
Clog uses fixed rules for the core compliance record. It does not send those records to a generative-AI provider to interpret them. Read more about our approach on the AI page.
Can we rely on every workflow working offline?
Some work can be queued locally when connectivity is lost. Other actions need a connection. Check the displayed state and confirm the workflows you need during your trial; do not assume every action is available offline.
Does Clog guarantee an inspection result?
No. Organising records supports review; it does not replace the work, professional judgement or a regulator’s assessment.
Can we request more detail before signing up?
Yes. Make the documentation and any unanswered data questions part of the evaluation before you transfer important records.

Make the record part of the routine.
